Bailiff Bridge Scout Group is one of the most active Groups within the District with dozens of children attending our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections every week.

We meet on Monday at Bailiff Bridge Community Centre, regularly visit Bradley Woods Activity Centre, and host events, camps and activities helping young people make new friends, have adventures, and learn new skills.

We’re also proud to be at the heart of our community – from supporting the Brighouse Gala, to being part of Remembrance Events, and planting trees as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy in memory of Elizabeth II.

The Scout Association’s purpose is to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

As Scouts, we’re guided by these values:

  • Integrity: We act with integrity; we are honest, trustworthy and loyal.
  • Respect: We have self-respect and respect for others.
  • Care: We support others and take care of the world in which we live.
  • Belief: We explore our faiths, beliefs and attitudes.
  • Co-operation: We make a positive difference; we co-operate with others and make friends.
