Bailiff Bridge Beavers, Cubs and Scouts have collected a huge selection of food for Brighouse charity Focus4Hope to help those in need in the community this Christmas.

Bailiff Bridge Scout Group has arranged for a new Union flag to be flying above the village’s Memorial Park ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

We have been successful at applying to Tesco’s Stronger Starts scheme and will be featured in some of their stores across Calderdale from now until the end of March 2025 – and we need your help!

On Monday 7 October, we welcomed Brighouse Central Foodbank to Bailiff Bridge Scout Group as we came together to donate much-needed food to boost supplies and learn about the work they do to support those in need across our community.

Every Scout Group is now required to have a Group Trustee Board so we’re looking for new members who will oversee the governance of our Scout Group and support our Beavers, Cubs & Scouts volunteer leaders.

Dozens of young people from Bailiff Bridge Scout Group have spent a day planting young trees as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy initiative providing a focus for Brighouse’s remembrance of Her Late Majesty.
