We need you!

Please help us support young people & our Bailiff Bridge community

Bailiff Bridge Scout Group offers dozens of young people from across our area the chance to build skills for life – and we are proud to be part of this community through our litter picks, parades and fundraising.

Now, we need your help. We’re looking for new volunteers to become Trustees or our new Treasurer to help oversee our Group.

You don’t need to know any of our Beavers, Cubs or Scouts, just have a passion for giving the children amazing opportunities by helping our volunteer leaders.

Put simply, without Trustees and a Treasurer, we would not be able to run our Group.

Being a Trustee is not about running our Monday meetings, but being responsible for the governance of the Group.

That means ensuring it always works for the benefit of our young people, supporting our volunteer leaders and team members, and ensuring we represent the community we’re part of.

Our Trustee Board meets three or four times a year and host an Annual General Meeting, but effective Trustees will also volunteer for tasks in between the meetings to ensure the smooth running of the Scout Group and maximise its potential for a hugely positive impact on its young members.

If you’ve got a bit of time to spare, want to build your CV, or help give young people #SkillsForLife, this could be perfect for you.
